Kevin Renfro
focuses his practice on representing injured people and has for almost 40 years. He was born and raised in the South End of Louisville into a working-class family. His dad made tractors at the old International Harvester plant, and his mom worked at the school cafeteria, so Kevin and his three older brothers could get a good education. Kevin graduated at the top of his class at DeSales High School, then graduated from the University of Louisville in just 3 years, before going straight into law school. He was on the President’s List in college, and the Dean’s List in law school.
Kevin was actively practicing law at just 23 years old. Kevin has probably personally settled more individual injury cases than any other lawyer in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He is also licensed to practice law in Indiana, Tennessee, and Ohio. Kevin uniquely understands the hardship of not only the injured person, but the entire family when a tragic accident occurs.
Kevin’s dad lost an index finger in a punch press accident and was in rehab for months. It was a stressful and difficult time for his family, with the loss of income, medical bills and the uncertainly of what the future would bring. Such is one of many reasons why Kevin represents only injured people against rich and powerful corporations and insurance companies, trying to level the playing field for regular folks. Kevin works only on a contingency fee basis, which means that he gets paid only when he wins or settles your case. Kevin used to practice in a very large plaintiff injury firm but has decided to go out on his own, so he can spend all of his time working on client cases instead of managing a large office. Kevin believes that his most important case is YOUR case and will be honored to provide the personal service you need, and the attention to detail that your case requires. Kevin has the highest ethical rating for attorneys, is a Super Lawyer as nominated by his peers, and has frequently lectured other lawyers, paralegals, and even insurance adjusters on the nuances of personal injury law. He is on the Board of Governors of the Kentucky Justice Association, which is dedicated to the sacred and Constitutional right to trial by jury, having twice been named its outstanding Board Member. Let Kevin’s experience and the trust he has earned from thousands of other clients go to work for you!
